HOTEL PÓCAR was born from a chapter of my life I never saw coming.
In December 2025, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was surgery, surgical drains, chemotherapy, radiation and more appointments than I can count — a crash course in recovery I knew very little about.
My medical care was incredible. But once I left the hospital, I began to understand the difference between being medically cared for and truly feeling cared for.
I started looking for recovery essentials that were practical, comfortable and thoughtfully designed — products that considered the person using them, not only what they were recovering from.
I could not find what I needed. That gap became the starting point for HOTEL PÓCAR.
Surgical drains were one of the biggest challenges for me. I wanted something secure and discreet that would give me the confidence to move around, leave the house and regain some independence while my body healed.
I could not find the right solution, so I created one.
Recovery can leave you feeling vulnerable and unlike yourself. I wanted to create products that could make those days a little easier — bringing back some comfort, confidence and normality when you need it most.

HOTEL PÓCAR is inspired by the feeling of being looked after in a beautiful hotel — the comfort, the care and the small details that make everything feel considered.
That is what I wanted to bring to post-operative care and recovery.

HOTEL PÓCAR began with my experience of breast cancer, but it was never going to be only about cancer.
